We invite you to join us in celebration of Diane Rehm's story of courage and triumph through her unique journey with SD.  The weekend with Diane begins on the evening of August 17th.  

Diane first speaks at a dinner in her honor to be held at the Four Seasons, in the Las Colinas section of Irving, TX on Friday.  She is also with us the following day as she keynotes an educational conference and then is the featured speaker at luncheon. 

Net proceeds from the dinner and conference benefit those with Spasmodic Dysphonia, the challenge that Diane faces every day!

 

Ms. Rehm will speak on her illustrious and inspirational career.

Our "Weekend with Diane" begins with a dinner event on Friday, August 17th, honoring Ms. Rehm, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Las Colinas.   We invite you to sponsor a table for the event, or buy individual tickets.  The evening begins with cocktails at 6:30 followed by an intimate dinner. After a brief award ceremony, Ms. Rehm will speak on her career highlights.  

The Four Seasons offers an elegant dining experience. Your host will provide free valet parking.

This event benefits The Dystonia Association of Dallas, a local group that has many members with Spasmodic Dysphonia.

CONFERENCE & LUNCHEON

The Dallas Spasmodic Dysphonia Conference begins the following morning on Saturday, August 18th.  Diane Rehm will be opening with her Keynote Address, followed by two notable experts, Dr. Barbara A. Schultz, who brings an impressive background as well experiences from her respected practice at UT Southwestern Medical Center.  The conference breaks for a luncheon featuring Diane then is concluded by respected speech therapist, author and international speaker, Connie Pike, MA, CCC-SLP, who was diagnosed with SD.  

Connie will discuss her program model and strategies for success as well as her courageous story. The luncheon is open for both Conference attendees as well as the general public on Saturday.  We encourage you to explore new friendships and become inspired in a room that will be filled with people who care about the future of treatment for Spasmodic Dysphonia.  We anticipate high attendance for the event, so please reserve/book your space now.
